What you get

What is included.

Useful when your venue has a late licence, when the party will outlast the band, or for a smaller do where a DJ and sax feel livelier than a playlist.

  • Sol from the band’s final song to your finish time
  • Your song sheet, followed to the letter
  • Two half-hour saxophone spots, if added
  • Microphones for speeches and announcements
  • Our own lighting rig for the floor

How it works

The late sets, step by step.

  1. Fill in the song sheet

Your favourites, anything to avoid, and the song you want to end the night on.

  2. Fix the finish time

We confirm the close with your venue and decide where the sax spots will land best.

  3. Close on time

We play right up to the agreed time, then clear our kit quickly so the venue can lock up.

Questions

DJ and late sets: your questions.

Will Sol play songs guests ask for?

When they suit the room and are not on your avoid list. Your song sheet always comes first.

Can we have Sol without the band?

Yes. Sol can cover the whole evening, with or without the saxophone.

How late can you play?

As late as your venue allows. With a midnight curfew, the final song starts a few minutes before.
